What's with all these servers with v.2.55 ET? They just keep on popping up!

Examples:
Bad Gerbil TC:E Bloodlust (70.42.41.187:27960)
Assassins TCE Server. All Weapons! (72.5.249.108:27960)
TeamSiC TC:E ALL WEAPONS (66.148.72.26:27960)
+UB+Clan TC:E ALL WEAPONS (69.28.221.91:27960)

Do some people just don't know that there's a 2.60?

ppl are going back to 2.55 2.56 because the kick feature
works and there is no fire lag on game play.

2.6 Does have issues!

2.55 is just better I think, thats why I stay there, I am personally in the UB clan, as Gustav. 2.55 has fewer people, and just seems funner. All the idiots went to 2.6 and everyone on there seems to be mean or something. Plus, on 2.6, quite often, the servers are not full or don't have anyone on. But on 2.5, you are garunteed to find someone on a server, plus, everyone on 2.5 just seems to know each other. :)

Heh...I installed a separate copy on 2.55 just to see, and you guys are right. A lot more fun than 2.60. :D

Glad to play without some inherently annoying people around... (dedicated Ersatz campers, R93 death marchers, grenade kamikazes, and just lots of stupid talkers).

Yourre right about idoits being in 2.60-048 version of TCE. The thing is I find ET fun to play even when getting 40-48 kill-death, but ofcourse most of the time I have positive fragrates. Getting fragged in WET in every possible way to die is fun but TCE has just become a spawncamper, camper, and lamer fest.

I can say that what is in TCE on ET 2.60 is not in WET itself.

I stay on 2.55 because everyone I know plays there. Plus my clan hasn't moved to 2.6, not sure they will since TC:E has caused alot of problems for them.

Yeah, UB's not coming back, too many young people wanting recruited, and we've had some members leave over it, and some members hacking on TC:E just getting kicked out of the clan and then people not liking that so they leave. UB is looking for the older croud, 16 and above, and TC:E is a bunch of short little arses, hate to say it but they are. And UB is still very picky on who gets in, I had to get a mention by a member 4 times, and then that member have a request for a special entering. So UB is hard to get into, and recruiting gets annoying picking through a bunch of 13 year olds, so UB has gone back to good old MOHAA, CoD: UO, CoD2, those games. WWII. Got quite a few allies on AA, but I don't see UB ever having a server.

its just that way now.. if this isnt fixed sooner or later its all done for. BTW if you havent noticed overall WET player count has gone done for 10000+ to meager numbers between 8000-9000 at a time.

Well, it is the last portion of summer. I'm sure a lot of gamers are enjoying their last bit of freedom before school or whatever :P

Yeah, I'm probably not going to be on as frequently because of school. I'm fighting some Polish girl for Valedictorian.

The ironic thing is, I'm currently dating her. :\

The thing is I don't understand clans. Why is it so important to be in one? I just find some random server to play in, and I'm done.

Ahem, training, friends, you know the people vetter, you feel wanted, you got a server to play on where you are top pick, sometimes private servers. Clans have alot of benefits.

ofcourse clans have benefit. My clan for one doesnt allow anyone under 17 to join with the exception of a few including me, well not anymore since im already 17. But above all my clan is organized into induvidual squads and each squad has its own fireteam. That way the entire clan is easily under control. We also have divisions for each game but nowadays its mostly BF2
