Dragon, that rubber ducky demo was not for graphical purposes or even water/splashing effects, it was all physics. Water buoyancy, duckies rolling over each other, and the big monster ducky at the end throwing the others out of the tub and making waves. If you liked that one, check out the Autumn Leaves tech demo, which had millions of leaves on screen swirling in the wind, showing off the physics and particle effects of the PS3.
Like Diane said, this is the like the fifth post about the PS3 in four days or something, and try to keep the topic count down. We all know the PS3 will pwn already.
Whoa, now that I think about it, Q3 had basically no physics...
Here's something cool:
1) Turn up your monitors brightness and contrast to the highest setting. I myself had to do this and turn up the brightness and contrast of my GPU.
2) Go to:
http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/default.html, Sony's official PS3 site.
3) Right above the controller but below the PS3 logo on the box itself is an unmistakable Apple logo. Refresh the page if you need to.
Sony has done this in the past, with a strange ad campaign in LA subways before E3 2005. I'm thinkin iTunes connectivity. Everyone knows Sony and Apple are pals, but this much? Woot.
I've seen this on a few site online, and others see it too.
