I kinda agree with the smoke grenades, but I kinda don't. for the fun factor, I say yes. for the realism, I say no. in ET and COD smoke grenades are timed, and you can't get around it. though a shorter fuse could be used as an excuse.

the jumping and falls should be improved and upgraded,

the jumping and falls are actually really importent,
cause you could deminish the arcade feel allot when you improve the jumping and falls,

now heres my suggestion: there are some high places on the map where you should die when you fall off, currently nothings happening when you fall off from high buildings/places, or you just decrease your life meter, but its unrealistic, cause in real life you would walk cripple, or die,

walking cripple will never be programmed in the game, not impossible but too much work, so i suggest that you should die from a high fall,

this will make people play more carefully, so it will decrease the arcade factor.
and evry time you land after you jump, the devs should add an animation,
so evrytime you land after a jump, the knees should bend a little and than it should lift itself up to an normal position again, thats realistic,
and this possible, and the fps view should automaticly look up and down when you land after a jump,

but i forgot to mention...
this might add more realism and decrease the arcade feel,

but the problem is... the ladder...
what if you wanna get off a building and climb down with the ladder,

77% chance that you eventually fall of,

make an action icon when your near the ladder: and if you select the action icon... you will automaticly get on the ladder,

Dragon, I understand that you dislike the ladder animations, but bringing up topics that have already been discussed, agreed upon, or shot down is kind of irrelivant at this point.

If there's one thing I've learned about your ideas, the details are trivial and pointless and are a reflection of your past.

But just so I can give you some constructive criticism, I have read your idea...

1. I don't like the fact that you think a long fall should kill someone instantly just so they'll tread a little more carefully. Accidents do happen and suicides, I think, take away from your overall score.

What happens if your legs are riddled with bullets but you don't die? Wouldn't they 'in real life' cripple you and prevent you from walking normally?

2. To make your "bending-knees" animation a lot easier, what if when you jumped you automatically crouched? This would take away from the painstaking measures the dev's would have to create one simple yet pointless animation.

3. The action icon would be kind of a useless option. If you're being fired upon, would you really want to hassle with the action icon?

Getting on a ladder is actually as simple as doing a 180 degree turn going off the ledge and then moving forward so you catch yourself on the ladder.

I mean, that's what I usually do.

So there, I read the meaningless details and built off them. If I didn't get a point you were trying to clarify, I apologize. I probably just didn't bother bringing it up.

and if you think its pointless, i advice you to stop reading them,
but you keep on posting stuff on my ideas, is not that i dont want you to reply, but you said my idea's are pointless right? than its even more pointless to reply them, keep in mind that there also people that might find it intresting,

but thanks for the contructive criticism.

If you don't want my criticism, then you don't have to post them here.

When you post something on the internet, you must realize that it is fully open to anyeone's criticism, it being constructive or... non-constructive.

It's not pointless for me to reply, because some of my advice can be taken into consideration believe it or not.

But seeing that you only good criticism , I really see no point in keeping this topic open.

I don't think any of his posts are pointless, they would all make it look better, but some of the things they want to do they just can't, or it would take way to long to do. It is a forum to post your ideas, and that is all he is doing. Mind you it might be quite a few times but he just needs a clear answer. 8) Yes, or No And look at that, they are so clear there shining white. :D
