i want to give critics about the old models that are still being used,
the old models just doesnt fit with the hole theme anymore,
look at the damn maps, it looks realistic, high poly,
and look at the models, its just unappropriate,

its the same thing like letting a 3 year old paint over a realistic painting,

thats crap!! if the devs want to improve the models, than they should do it now, now is the right time, but than again... its all up to them,
all i have to say, that its unappropriate to use the old models on photo-realistic looking maps, the models dont fit on the maps anymore,

the old Q3 terrorist models, it just needs some revamping,

but those terrorist models looks more tighter than the current terrorist models... the current terrorist models have ugly faces, with wacky mustaches... :roll:

Too alte to chane anything now. 049 is in RC2 beta testing, that means it is finished just being tweaked for bugs.

Well, how many times do we have to tell people this. We cant change anything anymore for this release as it is already "FINISHED" all that delays it are the bug testing to make sure they have every problem accounted for. :? :o :D :) :( :cry: :wink: :roll: :twisted: :x :shock:

making those, I really need to learn. Especially for Unreal and Source but Doom3E isnt such a bad idea either. I can model but my problem is skinning and setting up the skin in photoshop so it comes out an exact fit.

Problem is that really good skins are not just camera photos but painted and/or a mixture of both. So a skinner has really to be an artist...

neither of that is the problem. The only thing I dont know how to do is make the skins from scratch so that one bitmap can wrap around a model perfectly. I can however mod skins as I have done before.

Hmm yeah, when I get 3dsmax, and finish my new pc, this is first priority to learn. my 3d modelling skills are fine, but my skinning really stinks. However all I can do with a skin is modify an existing one with Photoshop.
