at first i did not like tce it was slower and the feel of it is defferent, but i tried again after a bunch of updates and now i love it!

one thing i noticed is that wolf et users and tc users play the game much differently. imho if you play this mod as though it was tc you will be profoundly successful

give it a go!!!

and for the et crowd i suggest looking at lost's post in tips and tricks that's how he is playing and why he is doing so well :)

AA sucks. It runs like crap on my computer, lags even worse, the training is ridiculous, the gameplay is lousy, grenades are a death sentence, uniforms for both teams are near identical on many maps, and the playerbase is crap. On 2/3 of the servers, everyone is convinced that everyone is cheating except for them.

"OmG U KIlLD mE U stuPIB Nub!111! I NO yUo R a haXXOR!11111! IM tELLinG Teh aDMin oN U111!1!!1"

few things to remember in AAO

1. use a config editor called "aaconfigurator (see footnote)" and lower every setting for AA. turn everything off, [except for video, or you wont see anything. (kidding)].

2. play on low-ping servers as much as possible

3. play on familiar maps, dont risk getting embarrassed on unfamiliar maps.

4. Join a clan, and stay with the clan on their server.

5. technically, PB tracks 90% of hacks, so no worries.

6. if you keep getting killed, it doesnt matter, as long as your team keeps winning, your fine.

7. Onething diff between AA and TCE, in AA, you need to use E&E training to its full use. most of the time, youll never see who shot you, thats because they use escape and evasion. never let yourself be sillohetted agaisnt the background.

8. try to keep using single shot or youll never hit anything beyond 3 feet

9. you can remove the crosshairs, or the entire hud

maybe one of these might help fix your problem.

(footnote) go to under downloads, find "aaconfigurator" it lets you edit the settigns not found in-game.

and kozak6, only real noobs do that screaming, normally those who havent got the feel of teamplay and the army way.

Thanks, but no thanks.

I uninstalled it months ago. It's just too frustrating for me to handle.

well, its your choice...

anyways, for those new players who are not used to the tce gameplay, it only takes a while to get used to. trust me.

You know, I don't think I would appreciate TCE as much as I do if it weren't for the general awfulness of AA.

I don't have to build up a small mountain of XP if I want to use the M4, when I die I only sit there for a few minutes rather than 20 minutes, it's actually possible to escape from a hand grenade, I don't have to do ridiculous training about counting helicopter blades or crawling through a map for an hour, team unforms are actually different, and it's fun to play.

It's kind of like AA without the BS.

Thank you, TeamTerminator.

Instead of playing AA to improve TCE skills you could always just play TCE.
