I like them. there are numerous sources of proof that they are used by military units for large-caliber firearms, and beat the crap out of the deagle.

as it was stated on the main forums:
Quote:
who wants a pistol the size of your SMG that only fires six rounds?

a large caliber revolver (hell, medium caliber, like the .357 magnum) would be an excellent replacement for oversized, overused, overly-crappy firearms.

the low rate of fire and low amount of ammo used is also a way to help prevent overusage.

note: if revolvers make it, I would like to see a pool-style ammo organiser thingy (like number of shotgun shells)

Would be excellent and interesting in V.I.P missions! Hell, I'd love a revolver in TC:E!

In addition, could be very interesting to have a scope on it too.

I am serious, on a rare occasion that I am.
Please don't point out my spelling, I can't see half the things I'm typing anyway.

I think it would be far too much work to animate it.

Can't be that much harder than P90 my bet.

revolvers are oldskool,

theyre ugly, why the hell do you want a pistol that takes a very long time to reload the bullets, when you can have a better pistol that requires less hard work when you wanna reload,

and this is way too difficult to animate.

here'sthe thing,

I'm goin to look at animating, mostly for a career in the gaming industry, and once you get one hand animation, it can be applied to all the others. would it be hard to do? yes. but if a bunch of us 3rd party guys get together, we can do it.

another reason:
the deagle is soo inaccurate, and virtually unused IRL, yet revolvers are well used and reasonably accurate.

also, the deagle as it is is waaaay to powerful. one half-skilled player can pop off the mag in less than 2 seconds, and a high caliber revolver could solve this problem

anyway, if it stays, the deagle needs a biiiiiig nerfing.
