Hi
I used to play TC:E some time ago but stoped playing few months ago because of lack of free time. My past experience with on-line players was quite good, although from time to time some team killers, team wounders and trolls could be met but as accidents rather than norm.
I've decided to play a littlebit TC:E yesterday evening (CET). And... It was horrible. I logged in to three servers and on every there was idiot teamwounding. Even worse, one of them was constantly insulting other players, complaining about them, calling their names as funny - simply trolling to the death.. And he had exact the name of one of this forum members...
Three servers one by one. Three teamwounding and teamkilling idiots because of their little ego problems (or whatever the reason). Everything in one day. Desease? Standard issue? Or maybe (I hope) my bad luck...
I like TC:E a lot. It gives me fun and release of tension from my work. But now I feel discouraged. I rather leave TC:E than deal with immature trolls with mental disfunction. I have enough around in real life to deal with.
Please, could anybody answer whether such situation is common now? Maybe I should go play objective instead BC (I choose BC usually because I need some release)? I don't know...
Maybe wrong choice of servers (I don't remeber names, one american one and two german)?
Please, advice...
Regards for TT and all normal community members.

Somebody on this forum stated that changing the in-game name is as easy as breathing. So name doesn't have to mean person. Therefore forgive me - no. Sorry. I don't want to blindly accuse anybody. But frankly speaking reading all post of this person I'm quite sure it could be him...
Once again, forgive me but no.

No but main reason of my post was to get viable information about current state of TC:E community, not to start any war.
And again - it is really easy to change in game name so I can't be 100% sure. And I didn't make any screenshots.

true,
well there are always players that ruin the fun, you cant do anything about it, unless your well known on evry server,
and all the server admins know you well, than you should ask the admin to kick the one that annoys you, than the admins will listen to you and probably kick the lamer out of the server.

anyways... welcome to this forum,
i think we're all glad to see someone new on this forum,
i hope you enjoy being on this forum,
and i hope you have some good suggestions wich we all can discuss on,

Thank you for kind words.
I'm not well known (well, I'm kind of noob) so I can't really rely on admin attention.
About kicking - it doesn't work all the time. Yesterday I saw teamwounder kicked few times (because of too many compliants) and returning. Ban is the only way for such person. The problem is admins aren't always present.
If anybody could advice server with active admins - I would appreciate it.
Regards

unfortunately, sometimes you just cant do anything about it,
the best thing you can do is try to ignore those lamers,
or try to change the team,

what i always do is to play they're stupid games too,
they kill me, i'll kill them, they trow a nade at me, than i trow it back.
but it really gets funny if you do it a couple of time,
eventually they will probably stop,

No Dragon... Actually you just add to the problem by doing that and provoke them to do it further...

no. because they eventually get bored,
if you try to ignore it, sometimes they keep and keep going.

Yes, ignoring it is a better option. You don't get it though, acting like them puts you down to their level. But, that would be up to their level in your case. :rool:

Well, seeing that I really can't post anywhere else but your threads seeing that it engulfs half of this forum, you shouldn't really go bitch happy on me.

I'm trying to carry on a relivant conversation with you, but you just have to be an asshat...[/Dragonathon]

In later news:
Xeno, you could do a really good thing with your *cough cough* MoDeRaToR POWERS!!!!iiii [/*cough*] by closing down this thread, seeing how seemingly irrelivant it is.

Thanks, you're going to be a great moderator. ;)

I cant see why you guys have to fight all the time. The kicking should never b in the control of one person, it should be by the decisionof everyone on the server.

Damn... I didn't want to start any kind of war... Just wanted to get reliable info regarding comunity status and (or) good, friendly servers. But well, people are people...
Sorry, I shouldn't post at all.
Bye
