I can assure you TT/GSS did not "steal" anything.

The item in question could be a similar free texture or model.

this is tce's objective box. its 100% the same like the picture i showed,
yes it could be that the devs use the same free texture,
but i thought the devs made evrything themself.

Wow, I'm impressed. You've changed my opinion about you. I thought you had like a ten IQ... Oh wait, you accidently added the 0 on the 140 and it's really 14... my bad.

And an IQ can be from anywhere to 0 (If you're dead) all the way up to 200. Ooh, burn, burn, pwnz0r3r4p3d!i!i12.

most of these textures are free, you can get them from free libraries over the net. Like the menu bg, I know where to ge tit and I even know its original file name and resolution.

using free textures is not really original,
devs should make they're own textures,
why? because they gain they're experience's in designing textures,
you totally wont gain your skills when you just using free textures from the net.

...Yeah, goddamn you dev's. Always using "unoriginal" stuff. It pisses everybody off...

Let the dev's use whatever pleases them.

Textures are pretty simple to make, from what it seems. You could just as easily take a picture of something and reduce the pixels to at least 256x256.

making your own textures isnt so easy, and since they are only making this from thier spare time and they dont even get paid or arent even paying anyone, they cant hire real graphics designers for texturing, that jsut costs alot. They are lucky if they find some who will work for free.

They use green crates at bomb spots so that the average gamer, which has played already a few tactical shooters can spot those places easier. It is not a matter of originality, they added such crates so that the rounds would get reasonable and understandable, without the need of getting through the manuals of the game etc. The plant and defuse missions are a copy of the missions of counterstrike and since that game is well know, they decided to make it easier for new people to learn the basics and maps. All this has nothing to do with imitating other's ideas or content, but has been chosen to have its place in the alpha test verions. Get over it! It is funny how a few individuals need to use images and colors to get their point over and it's even sadder, that those assert that without substance.

You also have to remember, TCE has been around in development for almost 2 years now.

Perhaps those pics were more recent?
