so i suggest there should be A TCE instant messenger...
so you can pm and add friends on that messenger..

so if you wanna play with your friends..
you just open new server..
open the messenger... check if you friends are online.. than just give them A invite..
the invitation you gave them should be popped out in A pop up window,,,
it can appear on his screen where ever he is.. if he is playing in A different server, or if he is still on the TCE's start page... evrywhere!!

so the person you invited will see A pop window..
that shows this message:

-----------------------------------------
Dragonathan has invited you to server( name of your server )
accept invitation??

YES:1
NO:2

-----------------------------------------

if he choose yes.. he automaticly launce to your server
this method is handy!
cause the current invitation system is complex
and... you only can invite friends if you know there IP..
But i dont want to give my IP to nobody!!

you mean, "A whole load of programming that eats the time of the release?"
thats different,
something that will improve TCE, its not unnecessary,

off-topic:

no, doing it is unnecisarry. it would rquire a TOTAL conversion, not just a mod, and, most people wouldn't really give a damn, I use xfire IM's when I play. also let's me chat with people playing other games.

Nah, IM'ing would just be some unnecessary stuff that would only cease to be used in the aftermath.

It would be as useful as buying a $500 video card just to play PacMan on your computer, and I do mean the original one.

I'd say closer to super mario bros 1, one or two people migh use it, but not most of the community.
