I have a rather difficult time imagining bots working with tce. The main reason being that tce is supposed to more or less revolve around squad tactics. And while this could possibly be achieved by converting everything to a ghost-recon esque interface, I doubt that will happen.

Guess they could be useful for target practice if nothing else.

when you say squad tactics, a few games come to mind:
hidden and dangerous(freedownload!!full version)
rainbow six, ghost recon, and splintercell chaos theory co-op mode(yes i know its 2 players vs online ai)
when you say target practice i think of rainbow six training warehouse
and americas army where you can spawn ragdolls.(actually its terrorists hanging in the air looking like their crucified. )
btw i have an idea to let no0bs know tc:e better. maybe the devs could make a map, where different objectives would be executed in order, and all weapons would be available, and there would be targets to destroy and things to blow and hostages to rescue n stuff. for a good example play condition zero:deleted scenes.(counterstrike)

nowadays a game without bots wont be very successful.. plus bots are simply algorithms or smth..

Right, well my point is that even the best coded bots are about worthless when it comes to strategy-based fps games due to their undeniable predictability. The Q3 version of TC had bots in it, and they were little more than target practice as they had about 2 routes that they would always take, making it extremely easy to get in the proper position to kill them all with little effort.

In my opinion, bots in TCE would need to exhibit quite a bit more AI than just about any bot i've seen in any game i've played to maintain the strategy/teamwork base that is a fundamental part of TCE.

they can be used for civies and refugees, that way, specops has to avoid hurting them or face consequences, and terror has to.. well, you know what i mean.

you know that would be a good idea,( like in cz ) but it would be too easy for the terrorists. get a sniper and the game's in the bag.[/quote]

there could ofcourse be a catch. example, the terrorists might want to keep the civies alive, because without the civies, specops wont have any problems using more lethal methods to their tactics.

on the other hand, if they do attack the civies, maybe those bots could be programed to take arms (local law enforcements, and militia) and fight along side specops.
