lol, you make me laugh. It isn't skill that determines luck, its luck that determines skill.

If you saw a blind man hit a foot wide target from half a mile away with a pistol and he said he had skill, would you belive him, of course not, you'd kick him in the balls and wished that he could see the demonic smirk on your face right then and there.

I exaggerated, but luck and patience determine the outcome of this game. If you just shoot into a smoke screen and kill something, that means you have luck and not patience making you half of a player.

it's like spray and pray, if I fired randomly i n a level and hit something, it's not skill it's luck.

to see through smoke is impossible early on (first 10-20 secs) after that it's hard to make out figures, then they eventually become easier.

i remember playing a level where there was an extensive sewer network connecting the teams but there was also haze. I was a tango and the spec ops just shooting straight down the middle and he hit me twice in the legs. So I turn and aim my AK-47 and shoot off 2 rounds and get two kills... They were all like :o h4X0r n00b!!!iii pwn3dz0ReD

that is true, my blindshooting isnt at all blind, like I said I look for the gun flashes or the silohettes before making my move, the luck part is determining where the head is, that way i ussually get 80% chance of hitting the head.

call it luck, call it skills,

but it didnt happen just once,
it did happen about 4 times.

and I didnt shoot the bullets in the smoke constantly,
i killed someone with 1 shot, when he whas totally invisible in the smokes.

when yu start it's pure luck. once you can make out shapes, it's still mostly luck, but it's also skill toa point, that point being, knowing the approxamite dimentions o your target, allowing a headshot.

yeah, shooting at something you cant see at all 100% invisible is just pure 100%luck no skill whatsoever. Shooting at targets who's gunflash or silohette is something different, it tests your attention span and your reaction time, thus is true skill if you can make a proper headshot with limited (not totally blind or invisible) visibility.

Try playing the lottery friend, then donate 1 million of your profits to TCE to get it moving. :P

well you can say what you wanna say,
but really, im not overblowing things or something,
but i call it skills,
you cant call it skills if you shoot at the fog constantly and eventually kill someone,
but you can call it skills when I killed someone, who whas invisible in the fog,
and i just used by sense to guess where he could be standing in the fog,
this didnt happend to me once, but 4 times,
yeah thats not luck, thats skills.
i think more i did more than 4 blindshots, but all the others dont count, because it caused more than 3 or 2 bullets

yess im skilled,
i keep my statement.
and im A wise guy, i know exactly the difference between luck & skills.

remember.. A trained shoulin monk can catch an arrow,
when someone shot him with an arrow,
if you shoot an arrow with A bow,
the speed of the arrow can reach the same speed like A speed train that go's 315 miles p.h.

do you call that luck... even if the shoulin monk can do it constantly?

monks are trained to do that kind of stuff (actually, I don't think thyey can catch arrows, but there is a guy who did it with a crossbow bolt)

it is still luck. you rely on your feelings/instincts (henceforth known as "the force" ) you are relying on what you think the players will do.

it's like camping, you know where you think that your targets will come from, and you will keep your sights around there.

cathing arrows, trained monk, thats skill. Taking a (completely blind) blind shot expecially with a sniper rifle (with exception to the SPR and M76) thats just luck. you said you just sued the "sense of guess" what in tarnations is that, thats just another way to say luk, guessing is all about luck, there is no such skill in guessing.

theres a reason why it is recommended that you stay down in crouch or prone position when your in fog, it makes you less of a target to hit, the rest is simply luck. (any bullets that hits and kills someone is luck, luk that you shot in the right place where the person made the biggest mistake of their virtual pixelized life.)

Why the *i-need-a-broader-vocab* are we talking about monks?

Oh well...
Dragon, there is no skill in this game, its all shit luck. You see some guy with 10+ points, its not because of skill its because he's a spawnkiller or a lucky-red assed- bastard.

If you guess where they are and spray some bushes killing someone, that is pure luck.

People don't get the lucky number 7 while gambeling becuase of Skill, its all luck.
