You aim to another class of players here Somator but this BC competition isn't a bad idea. I'm not interested myself, and I don't think u can be in contact with "BC community". I'm sure if those massa bc players were reading the forum, they could say : "I"m in !". But not enough of them around here to organize a competition for them.

@ Diane : If I follow u, no need to do obj competition, we have the heros standard server (with etadmin, stats) for that !?!  8) :P :x     :!: :?:

Tbh Somator, how would you attract casual players who arent interested in skill in a tournament?

The most people who arent interested in skill only just start up a game when they feel like and most probably arent interested in making free time for it.

So good luck reaching those people.

its true that we will be able to get enough teams to make a good warleagues and i am pretty sure that maybe it will be even better if we play more custom maps

How about a mapping contest, specifically to use the maps in competition? Hell, that's all I've been waiting for was new scrim-styled maps. Anything to break the overplayed rotation. And a BC Ladder might be cool.

I really like the Mapping contest idea Ba'al.
I have no previous mapping experience, except for like fooling around on like quake 1 & 2, and prob need a new computer before i do anything like that.
Anyway the maps we play now are very overplayed and getting to be a bore.
This idea is very good and i think we should pursue it.
But that's just one mans 2 cents.
