@site staff:

instead of locking threads because its going out of hand, why not just remove the post's that could cause fights... its better than locking a hole thread,

some people come here to just annoy people with suggestions, some of them even think they own this project and think they can perevent idea's from being implemented, but thats just plain stupid cause allot of suggestions from the community were added in the game.

so please just remove the off-topic/insult post's instead of locking a hole thread.

if the thread is just starting to wander, it can be done. but in the case of way off-topic ones, it's too much.

just remove the off-topic/flame post immediately before its gonna go out of hand.

I will check with my superiors to see if that is possible.

I'd just like to point out that I don't mind thread lockage at all.

On the other hand, removing a individual's post because of flaming (I'm talking about an initial flame) could throw them into an uproar and, in tern, cause them to flame that much more.

I think mods giving fair warnings that things are getting out of hand before lockage and forum-users being more mature in not responding to the likes of flamers is a more suitable and sensable solution.

Locking threads being overloaded with flames is only really necessary when multiple people are involved, you get what I'm saying?

I say if there is 1 person doing all the mud-slinging, then post-deletion should be enforced, but if an argument ensues, and the argument explodes into an all-out flame-war, the thread should be stopped for it's own good.

I agree with muska here. if it's a one-party thing, a warning, and then if it continues, post deletion.

but for multiple parties, we will also issue warnings.

I believe we all have had the decisions finalized here, and we're wandering.

so, I do this with the greatest sense of irony
