That kinda sounds like what my bro has, cept I think his case is worse. Because when he plays fast pace games he has a seizure before he pukes. If he plays game with less camera movement, like RPG's, he starts to get a head ache, and some times feels like puking. Next time you visit a doctor you might want to mention it, because my brother says it got worse over time. (He used to be fine with all game, but it got worse and he is stuck with slower games. Also he has a monitor with a low refresh rate, which he claims helps out a bit)

The lower refresh rate will hurt your eyes more and give you even more headaches. I play on 70hz, with a decent enough resolution, sitted upright and straight not slouching. Usualy posture has something to do with this aswell as circulation of air in the room, and proper circulation of blood in your body. Slouching too much or improper posture of your back, arms, head, etc.. can impede circulation and therefore limit the air getting to youur brain though blood making you dizzy after a while. Standup from time to time, dont sit still for more than 2 hours.

My brother has some kind of neuron disorder, and turns out that he should be on medication (Just to prevent it from getting worse.) What he has typically triggers ate around 12-14, and starts with head ache and feeling nauseous, but in time it gets worse. I don't know how old dragon is so I thought I'd mention it. If he is still young I think he should know. What my brother has isn't to rare either, about 1 and 100 have at lest a mild case of it, and about 1 and 50 who have progress to seizures. If dragon has it it would be for him to tell a doctor because there are other symptoms, and some medicines you shouldn't take.

BTW, Microsoft does mention playing video games in the dark or poor ergonomic conditions, especially those using force feedback controllers, can and will cuase light seisures. Light seisures is like getting seisures from flashes of light which bot hTV and games can create. Just do 1 thing, never play in the dark no matter how it improves the atmosphere of the game.

Effects can be permanent if not treated immediately - this is one bad habit that can hurt you almost as soon as you start. :? Not good.

Well, I'm not exactly the best person to talk to when it comes to bad habits. :-\

Well now that you know, its best to take my word for it. I know people who became epileptic because of the playing in darkness situation and excessively playing with a controller based machine such as gameboys and consoles.

Yeah, Playing games or watching TV in the dark in a bad idea. IDK if this happens to others but I get bad eye strain when playing games or watching TV in the dark.

Eye strain is actually the lesser of the effects of tv and computer in the dark. Your lucky if that is all you ever get.

im pretty resistant against gaming sickness, i can play like 10 hours in a row with only very short breaks, like toiletbreaks....

but rarely when im feeling not good im going away from my computer for a while, this helps most.
