 Post subject: How to tell a .49 server from a .48

Due to the errors caused by incompatability, .48 maps/servers do not work with .49. the best way to tell if it is a .48 or a .49 server is to look at the map currently being played. if it has an obj_ prefix (I.E. obj_snoe) it is a .49 server. if it has a dem prefix (I.E. dem_snow) it is a .48 server.

note that your best bet if you wish to connect to either server is to install/archive .48in a folder other than tcetest. also, if you are installing .48 after .49, re-name the tcetest directory BEFORE the install (the .49 folder) or the .49 files will be overwritten.
