it could be your screen resolution. I know when I did mine the first time it was off because I had it set to 800x600, but when I got it to 1024X768 it was better.

Yeah, I noticed this too.... I assumed it involved the current resolution, but that ovbiously wasn't the case. I was kind of going by the assumption that it would be the same as in the preview video.

I cranked mine all the way up to 1280x1024, and it was still blurry.
I would think by that time it would be crisp, but not so.

righhhts... that was weird...

Know that I have seen it and BTW found the fix for that damn hunkmeg error that worked for me. The intro is quite blurry.

I don't see why mine isn't crisp... I have my res maxed out in the letterbox format, plus I have every other setting maxed out too. I don't get it....

 max settings seem to make nodifference for some of us, or we just dont know their definition of clear.

if you are refering to the "etintro" that file has a pixel dimension limit, any higher and it doesn't work. Depending on what is being played the intro file will work worse/better.

cant there be an automatic screen size checker during the installation?
so people dont have to change there screensize anymore, cause it will be automaticly adjusted during the installation, that would be mroe userfriendly..

possible?

This is why I recommend running WET before installing TCE and running it. If you already set up your settings before it would be easier. In anycase you could use the cfg files to force it to the resolution you want.

I can't go from ET to TC:E, ETmain buggered my default screen res to be 800x600, but I could mod my xfire one to set it to my screen res
