The PS2 is part of the sixth generation era, and has become the fastest selling home console in video game history, with over 120 million units shipped worldwide by May 2007.

so for those who still own a ps2, dont sell it they are still making lots of games for the ps2.

I gave away my PS2 to a kid who's house was broken into, they of course took his PS2. I don't plan on buying a new one because I spend most of my time reading now-a-dayz. I might not show my head around for a while, I recently read a book that I found good, and I'm going to read the rest of the authors books. Ohh, and Harry Potter Book 7 comes out in two days. I bet Harry Potter is going to buy a DE and shoot Voldemort.

IT'LL BLOW UP IN HIS FACE! :o

but on topic: Isn't selling games for old systems a nintedno thing? I mean, the NES had it's last game released in the mid-late 90s.

It took a while for the original play station to die. Mainly because the high demand for PS2's and the few in stock, which meant a lot of people had to wait to buy a ps2. Which meant there was still profit from the PS1.
