Post subject:  Server joining Prob.

Well my problem is that each time I go into a server my FPS goes from 80 to 20 and then my pc freezes (after that I got to manually shut down my computer because nothing happens). Now don’t all say why you don’t reinstall tce… that’s the problem I did (I even deleted all the mods and maps, but each time I join a server I got to download the maps he has).So when I reinstall tce I doesn’t matter because I got to download tons of crap again to actually join any kind of server. Anyone who knows what the problem is or how to fix it…

I havent seent this before. maybe if you can give me more details on what has happened. also, details on your computer's status and specs. plus, the server info and what other programs / gmae shave this problem.

Ayyway the 049 release will get rid of all the downloads.

Ahhh sweeeet I just can’t wait to see 0.49, but for now here are my computer specs.

Memory: 448.0mb
Processor: AMD Duron ™ (its almost 6 years old... so its the equivalent of a pentium3)
Video card: Geforce MX4000 128mb
System: Microsoft windows ME

And here’s a pic of what my tcetest folder looks like (I know that there is alot of added files, but the servers I usually play on have them and it’s the first time that my computer freezes when I join those servers...)

Are there any specific instances where this happens or does it jsut happen on any server after downloading maps?

It happens when I go on any kind server ( well I tried a few and it all did the same thing, expect one server that just kicked me out of the game and a message box popped up and said kernel32.dll has caused an error or something). But it’s okay if you can’t find out why it does that… I’m patient enough to wait for 0.49. well i hope lol

I believe kernel32.dll has something to do with your ssytem dlls not the game dlls. I must be something wrong with your PC.

if you wanna build one I can help with setting up your parts. You need to buy them and assemble yourself if you can do so. Its really easy.

Ya pc clones i think... But its okay for now one of my friends told me what to do... I got to restart my pc and open it with MS DOS and type c/windows then del win386.swp to create a new fresh memory folder or someting... So il try that lol and thx anyway.
