server disconected, PunkBuster kicked player
'TanielHussar' (for 1 min)...cheat detected

windows XP, pb updted,
no errors in console.
anyone had similar problems?

edit:

so i reinstalled everything. now i got new problem:
empty cd key not allowed on this server.
i did /pb_cdkeyreg. didnt help.

join an ET serer with pb enabled, then try the /pb_cdkeyreg and wait 1 min, should be fine. for some reason people having problems in tce with it...

but dont you have a backup of your old guid(etkey)? in win7(maybe vista too) i noticed that pb chose a different installation path
C:\Users\RazOr\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\ET\etmain\etkey
if you have an etkey in that folder, copy it to your other (game) etmain folder, that should work too. also check which pb folder (under appdata and gamefolder) has newer files, and then copy/overwrite the old files appropriately (magz recently had the problem of pb not working properly coz of the appdata pb)

ok seem like the authentication servers of eb are down -.- (thx to soma. for using the power of google)
which means pb_cdkeyreg wont work for now. if you dont have your old etkey saved under C:\Users\xx\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\ET\etmain\ or a backup somewhere else, then use this one it should work for now (pw in a pm as u dont wanna get people messing with ur guid ;) )

Yeah, SeF had a new player apply from CS:S, and he couldn't play due to Empty CD-Key problem. Nice to know its EB's fault, because he had everything installed correctly.

the file to download, '_ty.zip' won't let me open it, protected somehow?

alright. what you need to do is open the etkey(right-click save as..) file with a texteditor (notepad,...) and change some of the numbers inside (theres some info for u in there as well). it should only contain the numbers, so delete the text (added to make sure not everyone is using the same etkey) and then afterwards move the new etkey to your etmain folder. this is a temporary fix until the pb auth servers are up again, you'll need a new key then (delete the old one and use /pb_cdkeyreg)

For example if it was

i could just change it to say,

124356879 ?

Forgive me, i have two, 'etmain' folders, i duplicated the etkey and placed it in the other etmain folder aswell so now theres 2 etkeys (same key though) and it works! :D

u have a C:\Users\xx\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\ET\etmain\ folder? put in the etkey there as well if so
also try this one (no need for any modification)

Lol. That's nothing. Try 60%+ humidity 24/7, with 90-99 F temps (feels like 100+). You walk outside and you're already sweating. :cry:

35c = 96F
40c = 104F
