|Post subject:||anyone remembers the resolution cfg trick?|
Over at tce.net we had a post stating how to make ur resolution stop changing. Anyone knows how this went? It was something about deleting some cfg and then making a new one etc...
it was in the sticky tutorial if someone has a copy of some of the old boards.
God, so much info was lost.

open console with ~(at most cases up of q letter) and type as follows
seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_customwidth "xxxx"
seta r_customheight "xxxx"
at "xxx" place your resolution height & width. as simple as that
mode cmd informs game that we have a custom resolution setting,customxxx sets resolution. seta writes variables to etconfig.cfg (it it's not write protected or sumfin in windows, or you dont have rights to that file/folder in penguins:)
